CREAFEST
2025 / Drone Visuals
A Passion for Animation
In early 2025, while studying at the ESET School of Industrial Design Engineering in Valencia, Spain, we worked on a major project focused on designing a drone. Working in a group of three, I quickly became deeply invested in presenting our concept digitally and put a strong emphasis on creating a commercial-style animation for the project.
ROLE
Creative direction, motion design, visual system
TOOLS
Blender, Octane, Touch Designer, Premiere Pro
RESPONSIBILITIES
Concept, art direction, animation, delivery
SELECTED PROCESS
01 / inspiration
Heavily inspired by the work of Tendril Studio, I ultimately created two animations: one dedicated solely to our drone, and another showcase-style animation for the entire class, featuring everyone’s drones. This second animation was later used as a background visual for Creafest, the annual expo held at ESET in Valencia.
02 / software
The animation was primarily created in Blender using Octane, with TouchDesigner used to add glitch effects and visual accents that match the fast-paced rhythm of the piece. My goal was to create something dynamic and energetic.
03 / RHYTHM
Developing such an in-depth animation—with careful attention paid to every frame—was an extremely enjoyable process. It was during this project that I realized animation was becoming my new passion.
